Direct replacements for EMG 81-7 and 707?

I hate the sound of the EMG 81-7 and the 707 pups, which came stock on my Gibson 7-string Flying V.

Sadly, those have a non-standard casing, and it seems like the only direct replacements which exist are the Seymour Duncan Blackouts Phase II -favored by one of my heroes, Dino Cazares, but also active and certainly not my cup of tea tonewise.

Are you guys aware of direct replacements for these pickups -besides a pair of Duncan Blackout Phase 2?

I have no recommendation for drop in replacements, but if you really like the guitar, it could be less expensive in the long run to go ahead and take the plunge
