Wanted: More cell phone help......sort of.

A while back I'd asked for cell phone help for my wife. All the input was very helpful (thanks!). This weekend she picked up a Samsung Aviator and seems genuinely pleased as she tries to learn, well....basically a new language. It's a cool phone that she doesn't seem to be afraid of. Big plus.

The question is:

She also got a 4G hotspot thingy (w/ 5 gig data plan currently) that runs the internet on her laptop. It is WAY faster than my sh!tty Frontier 1.5 mbps DSL (1.5 mbps is the fastest we can get thru Frontier where we live due to whatever equipment limitations on their end).

What do I need to install in my desktop PC to be able to use her hotspot thingy as my internet connection? I desperately want to dump Frontier.

There are a few ways to go (depending on how comfortable - or not - you feel working inside a PC).

A quick search on Amazon returned this list.

In general, the PCI cards (they in tall inside the box) are going to be better. THe USB ones (just plug it into any USB port) are the hight of convenience, though, and you can use it on pretty much any computer (should the odd need aside).

I'm pretty comfortable tearing into a PC, but since there are 2 desktops in different parts of the house, USB might be the way to go.
