WTB: Duotone or any electric with piezo

Recommended Posts

I'm looking for an electric with piezo such as a Duotone. I had one a few years back but I got rid of it. I now need one for the gigs I do. It can be a player and doesn't have to be mint. Prefer US, but will also look at imports. Will also consider other piezo electrics. Would love to stay under $700 if possible. I also have cool non-Hamer guitars for trades if interested.

Thanx - Pete

Pete,

I have a trans red three hole USA DuoTone in 9.9/10 condition. I'd sell it for exactly what I paid for it about six months ago on eBay - $850 with a Hamer Newport hard shell case. $50.00 less if you don't need the case.

I can take photos - e-mail me if you're interested.

+2 dealing w/Dave. Not many red 3 holers out there either.

You have the info and photos of my 1st generation Parker Nitefly.

Duotones are seriously nice guitars. No whammy though. ;-)

Hey Bad - I actually checked that out last night at GC. I played the new model and I thought the piezo was really kickin, but I couldn't stand the buckers. Then I saw that there was no easy way to replace them, which kind of blew it for the guitar. Could you please send me some pictures of yours? How does it hold up in high gain situations (the hums, that is)?

email on the way...

Here are a couple of quick snapshots of my duotone. The white spots are reflections. I can take better daylight phots this weekend. The color looks kind of brownish in the snapshots, it's actually a deep red.
