sledhead44 Posted February 3, 2013 Posted February 3, 2013 1984 Hamer USA Blitz Bass with Original Hard Shell Case $650 shipped CONUS and paypalled. I recently cleaned the fretboard with gorgomyte, and rubbed in a few drops of fretboard conditioner, so that is clean and shiny. The body has HEAVY swirling and pick scratches. One BB size ding near the pickups and a few more below the tailpiece area. There are some chips through the finish on the bass side lower bout. Back side has scratches but not through to the wood, and no worming. There is no checking anywhere. BB Size ding on back of headstock. Paint missing on tip of headstock. Serial # is either 4-9996 or 4-9998. I can't really make out the last digit. Case is heavily scuffed up (in my opinion) but is nicer than ones I've seen listed on ebay. The red interior is plush, but the glue holding it in is deteriorating causing the padding to come loose in some spots. The leather is loose on the underside of the compartment flap. One of the latches does not work. Used to smell like smoke years ago when I bought it, but now smells like dryer sheets, LOL. Let's keep this in the HFC Family! It will go to ebay in a week or so if there is no serious activity on this. I have been sitting here for 3+ hours trying to get the pics to work, so hang on for extra replies with pics!
