FS: '95 USA Studio, Blue Flametop, Now $775!!

11/1 EDIT: I've dropped the price to $775 shipped to the lower 48. It is presently on Ebay, but it had no bids yet and I'd be happy to pull it for any HFC member.

Up for grabs in my trusty '95 USA Studio. This has been my main instrument for a while, but I've leaned toward my P90 Special a lot lately. In addition, I just scored a mint '95 P90 Goldtop GT, so this excellent Studio is up for sale.

This has the standard appointments from 1995 - wraparound Wilkinson bridge with intonation feature, dot neck etc. The guitar is bone stock with the exception of the pickups, which have been changed to a Gibson 57 Classic Plus in the bridge and a 57 Classic in the neck. I wasn't fond of the JB/'59 stock combo, so I sprang for the pickup swap - the tone improved considerably to my ears. It comes with the original Hamer USA HSC.

Cosmetic condition is very good and only has a few very small impressions behind the bridge. You've gotta turn the guitar a certain way to see them and they are very superficial. PM me for additional pics other than those posted below.

It also has a mild case of Hameritis on frets 2-5, but it is minimal and not visible unless turned at a certain angle. There is also a tiny bit of it at the neck joint on the top. I've had several 90s Hamers, all with Hameritis, and this Studio has the least of all I've seen.

Price is $825 shipped to the lower 48. This price reflects only what I have in the guitar, but isn't exactly a bottom-feeder friendly steal either. Please avoid the PMs telling me what you think the price should be - thanks! No trades on this one - I just bought a house and I'm thinning the herd.

Payment via USPS Money Order or Paypal (you pay the fees, but I also take credit cards!). Shipment will be within 48 hours of payment and will be via DHL or FedEx Ground. I've got a few refs here and I have 112 feedbacks on Ebay (100% positive) under Bluesking89.

Please use the PM feature to contact me during the day- I don't have access to Hotmail at work. Good luck!

NOTE: I do have the original JB/'59 pickups and they are available for an extra fee of $80 for the pair.

PM sent. But one question. What is the neck size ? Thin - medium - beefy or 59 baseball bat ?

Ya had to go and put a blue guitar up for sale! DAMMIT!

Neck is medium by my definition. Smaller than an '82 Special but larger than my P90 Special.

Lots of tire kickers, but no takers yet. This is a great example of a Studio and you don't see the blue flametop every day. The flame is a little subdued until you get in under stage lights - then it really shines. The pics were taken with flash, so the top is more vibrant.

That is so fine! I was after a blue or green one after I sold a guitar recently (one in, one out rule) but I scored the green one that was on E Bay last week. Otherwise I'd be after this one!

Good luck Bluesking and congrats on the purchase of the house.

Nope - the Studio is still available. I originally had separate ads for a Jackson JJ-1 and the Hamer, but didn't realize it was a violation of Gear Page posting etiquette. The site admin merged my ads into one, and in the meantime the Jackson was sold. To the casual observer, it might look like the Hamer was already gone.

Sorry for the confusion, but the Studio is still up for grabs.

Raymund: I prefer to ship to the USA only, but I will investigate options for international shipment. Please PM me with your shipping address and payment options.

Thanks!
