velorush Posted July 10, 2013 Posted July 10, 2013 Jay (Murkat) sold one of those, maybe last year, year before? IIRC, he was trying it out in an effort to find a modern alternative to his beloved ADA. He's on vacation until the end of the month, but seems to be checking in regularly.
murkat Posted July 10, 2013 Posted July 10, 2013 I'm still here, but not for very long Yes, I had one, in attempt to retire my ADA that is going on 30+ years. it is good, and close, but, not close enough... for me. the ADA is it. the re issues are very, very good as well. and I did a mod to mine where I use the speed on a foot controller, I can get alot of different pedal tones just with speed control and the other knobs at a just right setting. search ada, it should come up. good luck on your quest. RobB as one as well. Once you gone ADA, and found the tone(rich, organic), all others pale. and I have tried them all. all of them. Nada.
