Anyone familiar with the PedalworX Cactus Crunch? I've been offered one in trade and, other than a couple of GearMannDude demos from 2009, the internet seems to be more or less devoid of any useful information.
There was some positive chatter (archived) on TGP around 2006 or so, but nothing in the past several years. Depending on the thread, comments place the drive as similar to a Zen Drive, similar to a Tim, a great clean boost pedal. There is no information on the rather sparse PedalworX web site (and a terse response to a TGP poster suggesting they improve their marketing ), which seems to indicate it is discontinued.
Added to all of that, it appears the creator, George Blekas is banned from TGP (could that be a positive?), which could explain the lack of contemporary references.
I'm looking for any experience, opinions or, heck, just a decent description of the pedal...
