My amp has an Eminence Texas Heat speaker. I don't know anything about the speaker except its name and it isn't the original speaker. When I hit a muted E it makes a pretty bad sound. It sounds blown to me but I'm not sure. If I play a muted E and at the same time I press my fingers against the cone of the speaker I can make the sound go away. Does that sound indicative of a blown speaker? The original was a Celestion Sidewinder and the amp is a Ampeg VL-503 50 watt amp.
