Wiring diagram for 2HB, 1V, 3way, and splitter?

Hi all,

does anyone have a wiring diagram for a guitfiddle with 2HBs (each 4-wire), a 3 way switch, and a coil-tap switch? Splitter switch to act on both pups in each of the 3-ways positions...I know it's similar to the pup, 1V, push-pull, but want to make sure it's wired right.

Can't find the exact match on SeymourDuncan.

Thanks!

Erik

I'm sure you looked at this, just ignore the tone pot (the tone pot is in parallel to the circuit and can be removed).

The ground coming from the 'top' of the switch to the tone pot (and all other grounds going to the tone pot) should be moved to the back of the volume pot and the lead coming from the switch common (middle bottom) should go directly to the 'left' tab on the volume pot rather than the tone pot.

I was thinking that'd be the one to base it off (and remove the pot), but since I tend to work on stuff after kids are in bed, I was hoping for a straight diagram. I'm hoping someone just screwed up some wiring, since finding a non-mini 2-way switch(which is what is in there) is proving to be a bitch. If it's a bad switch, I'll probably just put a push/pull tone pot in, use that to split it, and call it done.

Just a followup: managed to have the time last night to sit down and rewire the guitar. Whoever had this wired up before must have been on crack. They weren't even consistent with which pair of wires went to the splitter. The only consistent thing they did was run the red wire from each pup to the 3-way switch. I followed the schematic Velorush recommended and now this baby is back in business...splitter switch was fine, just wired dreadfully wrong.

That's great news! I love picking up guitars that "don't work" and finding out the wiring just needs a little attention.

Good on you for sorting it all out.
