Anyone tried out the new(-ish) Fender S-1 switch? This may be my new best bud. I was working on a project for an HFCer and needed an unobtrusive switch for some wiring options. I've seen them on the newer Strats and Teles, but I hadn't until today actually used one in a wiring scheme.
It's essentially a four pole double throw push-push switch - insanely useful. Kind of expensive at around $30 (and that's without the special knob required, another $10), but I thought it was worth it for what it does and what it doesn't do - make another hole in the pickguard or require pulling up a Tone knob. iPhoto:
