Serial Number Ink

The ink that was used for the 80s inked Hamer serial numbers is it some kind of special ink or simply a

black or blue normal ink-pad was used?

It's paint as far as I can tell. Nitrocellulose thinned down worked for me when I re-fined a guitar years ago.

The yellow numbers are more obviously paint.

just a lil opaque pigment with some lacquer added.

same as they been doing at GCS day one, as well as vintage hamers, gibsons, etc.
