black magic Posted March 8, 2006 Posted March 8, 2006 Hey dudes, selling my very nice Kramer with a generic all porpose tolex case. These were made in Japan by ESP, very high quality for the money. Alder body-maple neck(medium C shaped), bolt on-original floyd(non-recessed)-chrome hardware-1 SD 59 bucker-1 volume knob-rosewood board-medium jumbo frets-MOP dot inlays-bannana headstock- 2 dings to the wood, 1 on the body and 1 under the floyd on the body-frets are in 85-90% condition. The neck is nice and upper medium chunky and this thing was hardly played. The case is 1000 functional and the guitar comes with the original schaller humbucker and tool. I love this guitar a ton, but I owe a few to Uncle Sam :-( I have pics at jackgraner@yahoo.com $325 shipped Paypal=Money Order or Personal Check if I know you :-) Thanks-Jack.
FrankieII Posted March 8, 2006 Posted March 8, 2006 I have a Focus 3000 with Classic Kramer HS and a heavy ash body that rocks hard!
black magic Posted March 8, 2006 Author Posted March 8, 2006 These are of very good quality and this one will hurt as it has everything I love in a guitar. Jack.
hudpucker Posted March 8, 2006 Posted March 8, 2006 They're cool. I had back in the day and I put an EMG 81 in it and had the Floyd recessed. Someone should grab this one.
black magic Posted March 8, 2006 Author Posted March 8, 2006 Wow, a recessed one, they must have offered them both ways. I prefer the non recessed floyds or Kahler Pros myself. This is a very early one for sure and the rosewood board is of very high quality also. Jack.
Michael_ Posted March 8, 2006 Posted March 8, 2006 I've gota black one with a scalloped board and an EMG 58 that just kills. These are sweeeet guitars!
formula73 Posted March 11, 2006 Posted March 11, 2006 I've had both the recessed and non recessed versions. The thing I remember most about them was the necks. The recessed version had sort of a wide neck with a (to me) kinda chunky uncomfortable profile and was 3 pc while the older one had a 1pc with a more shallow comfy profile (again, to me). This has got the earlier neck?Post pron!
black magic Posted March 11, 2006 Author Posted March 11, 2006 I have a very early 1000 bro, with a Non-Recessed Floyd and a wide/thick neck, so it has a combo of what you owned and perfect in my book. If I didn`t owe local taxes(which my work doesn`t take out of my pay for me), I would never sell this one, very well made!! I am terrible at posting porn and my pics suck :-( I will try though :-) Jack.

It was just like the one for sale here except it was white. And it absolutely, positively stayed in tune no matter how badly I abused that whammy.
formula73 Posted March 11, 2006 Posted March 11, 2006 Oooooh that's the neck I liked! It's the color of my 2nd one and the style of my 1st one. Dammit I have to stop myself. I can't do it. I know it won't even get played.
black magic Posted March 12, 2006 Author Posted March 12, 2006 No damage to the headstock or neck and frets are like 90%+ :-) Jack.
black magic Posted March 12, 2006 Author Posted March 12, 2006 Would trade straight up for a Marshall 1960A 4x12 straight cab with G12T-75(English made) speakers in it. Would like it to be in very good condition. Thanks-Jack.
Scottcrud Posted March 12, 2006 Posted March 12, 2006 Jack, you'll never get a Marshall 4x12 with 75's in very good condition straight up for your Kramer. You'd be hard pressed to find that cab for $300 bucks out there.
black magic Posted March 12, 2006 Author Posted March 12, 2006 Well, I figured I would try. It seams the Marshall cabs are so overpriced now, the prices of them quite frankly shocked me and they have Chinese speakers in them. I have a Madison 4x12 and it is built like a tank and the speakers are Celestion GBH80 clones or something like that. They have tons of bass and highs, but I think I nead some speakers with some more mids with more crunch, maybe the Vintage 30`s or a mix of them and 75`s. The 75`s are louder(and break up) than the GH80`s(not the lead 80`s though). Maybe I just nead to replace the speakers in my cab? Jack.
Scottcrud Posted March 12, 2006 Posted March 12, 2006 Well, you're right about them being overpriced. The problem is both Boogie and Marshall have raised their cab prices to about $799.00, thus driving up the used market price. Still, if you look hard enough you can find a worn, used Marshall cab, but not minty like you probably want. I'd play a 4x12 with V-30's first to make sure you like it.
black magic Posted March 13, 2006 Author Posted March 13, 2006 Ya man, that`s the thing, I know I like G12T-75`s, but not sure of the V30`s. I wonder if the Emminence clones of the G12T-75`s are spot on and any good? Thanks-Jack.
Scottcrud Posted March 13, 2006 Posted March 13, 2006 Well, you know my #1 cab for years was a homebuilt (marine grade mdf) by my carpenter Dad, is loaded with 1981 or 85 celestion G-12-80's, the original 80's. The cab is just waaayyy to heavy, like 130lbs heavy. So I bought new speakers for my old slant 4x12, 2 celestion neodyium modern 80's and two eminence red ryders which are supposed to be copies of the classic lead 80's. All I can say is I have no need what-so-ever for my old 130lb celestion g-12-80 loaded 4x12. My slant sounds better, and only weighs about 70lbs. So the old 80's are probably going to be for sale soon.
black magic Posted March 13, 2006 Author Posted March 13, 2006 Scott, I messed up, I meant they are the 85 watt Celestion clones, not the 80`s. Jack.
Scottcrud Posted March 14, 2006 Posted March 14, 2006 I'd probably dump those speakers for new ones. I think all the new Eminence red coats are very good. Ya know, I have 4 eminence/Carvin made in the USA British 100's speakers that are like new, they're 8 ohm ...
