BadgerDave Posted March 10, 2006 Posted March 10, 2006 Yes, I'm insane.Here's the deal:I have a set of WCR Darkburst humbuckers that were installed on a guitar I took in on a trade. This was from a reputable guy who posts here occasionally and the pickups are authentic. I've compared them to another set of WCRs and they have the identical parts, wiring, marks, etc. They also sound absofrickinlutely great.They have full length leads and are in perfect working condition. The nickel covers are oxidized on the ends, but I have a brand new set of covers that I can include if you want them. I haven't removed the old covers, so I don't know what color the bobbins are.I'm looking for a set of Gibson Burstbucker Pro humbuckers to keep on hand in case I ever want to revert a Les Paul that I got on a different trade back to stock. The LP came with (you guessed it) another set of WCR Darkbursts! I put Lollar Imperials in guitar #1, so that set of Darkbursts has become expendable.I'm willing to trade "even up" so long as the Gibsons are a matched set of Burstbucker Alnico Pros in virtually new condition with full original leads. If you have a set with worn covers, I'll make the trade if you let me keep the new covers mentioned above.
