Downloaded the vivace legacy no problem, compatible with anything after OS 10.10 (I have 10.12)

Downloaded Kontakt 7 Player and it requires 10.14. D’oh! Website only has most current.

Where can I find an older version?

Thanks for heads up @mathman! It will help to blow up my HD. B)

Meanwhile, I have lost direction with these things, to be honest.

NI give away a neat sound generator.

Sonuscore have a few permanent free‘s to download. https://sonuscore.com

Spitfire is always a good source for sounds too. The Labs are iconic. I remember the Pianobook start years ago. It has grown a lot since.
