95/96 Hamer Special archtop sunburst USA

I just bought one of these from neighbor, what pickups are in this standard and are there any pick up combinations anyone recommends ?  I am thinking like a Steely Dan Peg tone ?

Well, the models I've got have the "59" set. But mine are all year 2000. I could be wrong, but I think they came as a "59/JB" set. Maybe someone else can chime in with a mid 90's model.    Jon Herington played a Hamer Talladega Pro on some of Steely Dan tunes, don't know if he used that one for the song though.  There's a clip floating around here with him playing it. Hit "Jon Herington" on the search link, it should pop up.

"Hamer Special archtop" does not compute (Specials are flattops), but like tweed says, it probably has the JB/59 set.

But if you're talking a Studio, then you need to contact Josh at Gravelin Pickups or Jeff at the Fret Shack for some of his Carondelet pickups. They will get you there.
