Zoner Posted April 7, 2006 Posted April 7, 2006 This is the first of my probably daily offerings from my secret vault of cool old guitars I never wanted to sell. Now that I'm not gigging anymore I no longer have the luxury of holding and maintaining my absurd quantity of music gear and the space to store it, so it must all go. Almost. Anywho, this here is an unmarked, totally anonymous Japanese copy of a Gibson Flying V in a deluxe Gibson hardshell case. It is all stock, including the cream "GOTO" Patent applied for pickups. It is a screamer and a super player, but is slightly microphonic if you really jack up the volume and gain. I think it is Mahogany all the way but can't tell for certain without lifting some finish somewhere. I have a repro Gibson truss rod cover and the original bell cover is still installed with no additional holes for the Gibby(I used double-stick tape). I have a bunch more pics I will be loading into a Photobucket later tonight, or I can Email some if anyone is really enthusiastic about these old repros. For those unfamiliar, they totally rock and will probably go up in value. Looking for $600 shipped or offers. Z 612-703-3990
