Ovation bowl depth question

For all the research I've done I can't seem to find out the depths of the deep/standard bowl, shallow bowl, and super shallow bowl (if those are indeed the regular designations of such). Simple as that. Any input would be appreciated.

There used to be outlines with measurements in the Ovation manual. I couldn't find it in the manual online and did a search of the OFC site and couldn't find it either. If I remember, I'll see if I can find it in one of the cases I have stored at home.

Definitely - Al and the guys on the Ovation Fan Club board are a great resource for the specs and historical information on anything Ovation.

Deep 5 3/4ths

Mid 5 1/4th

Super Shallow 4 1/16th

I think shallow/artist depth is the same as mid bowl

Talking to Al is never bad...

PEZ, I think the artist depth bowls are a little more shallow than the current mid-depth bowls. I still have a Country Artist, but I sold my 99 Collector that had a mid-bowl, so I can't verify that.

Could be wrong as well I was going memory for shallow.

Shallow were non cutaways

The was like this

1980 shallow catolog shows it 5 1/8th

In looking the catologs

Some of those numbers moved around slightly of the years.

The numbers I correct for 2003.

http://www.ovationtribute.com/Catalogues/C...gue%202003.html

1970 shows

deep as 5 13/16th Shallow as 5 1/8th

1976 Deep is 5 3/4th

an 80s Adamas spec showed 6 1/8th as deep
