TheDan Posted February 10, 2014 Posted February 10, 2014 This hurts but here goes: All original 86 Chap custom, previously from the Fung collection. 2 OBL rail style mini humbuckers in the neck and middle positions, the bridge pickup should be the higher output Hamer slammer (not quite sure there). 3 mini switches with phase reverse, the wiring is a piece of art! Fat neck and dark sound with lots of low end. Lots of little scratches, etc. and some tarnishing on the metal parts, hope you can see it in the pictures. So you're not looking at mind condition here, this beauty's a player. The floyd rose is blocked, the backplate missing and I am confident that I have the arm somewhere if needed. Comes with a Hamer case from a Chap Standard, the original case is so banged up that it won't protect the guitar enough for shiipment.I bought the guitar some 5 years ago on this forum and since then it's been sitting in the stand at home, lookin' pretty. I just never got used to the Les Paul style neck and the dark, low sound. I hope she finds a new home in the family here. Drop me a note if you need more infos.I'm looking for $900 (660 Euros) plus shipment. Shipment will be a hundred bucks to Canada and the US and 50 Euros in Europe.http://s1326.photobucket.com/user/TheDan75/slideshow/86%20Chap%20Custom
vitass Posted February 11, 2014 Posted February 11, 2014 Maybe I'm wrong but the head stock looks like repaired or has a crack.
TheDan Posted February 11, 2014 Author Posted February 11, 2014 I guess you're referring to those black lines that run along the first frets. I was assured by my luthier that these are just in the finish. I am not aware that there has ever been any issue with the headstock. There are scratches, yes, but I don't see any cracks or repairs.
reemsky Posted February 11, 2014 Posted February 11, 2014 Maybe you could post more detailed picture of this place?
TheDan Posted February 11, 2014 Author Posted February 11, 2014 I have added more pictures to Photobucket, hope this helps to clarify.
