  1. Didn't realize you guy's were not looking at the same guitar I was... http://cgi.ebay.com/Hamer-Artist-Ultimate-...1QQcmdZViewItem
  2. Semi-hollow with an ebony fretboard? (o.k., so it doesn't have an f-hole ). -Austin Not having an F'in hole is no problem. That is a good looking guitar and a good snag. I have an 81 Flying V with an Ebony Board but sorry to say that guitar is one dimentional. It Rocks but, i would love a guitar that gets a little jazzy and rude at the same time. I'm thinking Walsh and Frampton. A lot of LP Custom's working. I'll start looking when I get off my butt and actually get serious about selling my 91 Sunburst.
  3. Darn, when you ad a zero to $350 that makes a deal killer!
  4. That's what I'm missing, a Semi Hollow with and Ebony Board.. That's a great guitar even if it has Gold Hardware..
  5. Yes, anyone can attend, and a homebrew would be great! Right now we're going back and forth between Saturday August 16 and Saturday August 23 at Superior Street Studios in Chicago. We'll pick one of those two dates for sure by the end of the week. Link to the facility: http://www.superiorst.com Cool! those days are good for me. Aug 9th is the only bad one. edited to add... Sweet, I would love to attend... This sounds great ! BTW, I used to practice there with my old band. Nice place.
  6. I'm telling you guy's don't make me do it !!!!
  7. Awsome, we need a good upbeat thread around here. Looks like an awsome trip !
  8. LOL, would you..... Not me, I have two and I would still buy a third if I could.
  9. Call then, or email. If the Darkburst has the case and Original Pot's, a set of Paf's will come around.
  10. http://cgi.ebay.com/1979-Hamer-Sunburst-US...1QQcmdZViewItem http://cgi.ebay.com/1980-Hamer-Sunburst-US...1QQcmdZViewItem Someone just took all of my money or both of these would be mine !! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHA
  11. Sorry for being late... My our Prayer and Wishes be with you..
  12. 87 to 92/93 they were the wilkenson nut's then they switched to the LSR nut. I have a SilverBurst 91 with the Wilkenson and a Pewter 91 that has been fitted with the LSR. Both Good nut's and I have not issues. Story goes that fender replaced faulty Wilky's with the LSR. My guess is that it was cheaper to use the LSR since they could use the Fender Nut Slot... Either way, they work! NOT TO MENTION, that the string tention is improved, no string tree required.
  13. It needs some work -- I can't keep it tune worth shit. The nut is binding big time from what I can tell, and every time I engage the trem, all the strings go sharp. I'm gonna have to take it to my tech for sure. Any of you Strat lovers have any tuning tips? I do like the sound and vibe of it though, and it's a blast to play...very different from what I usually use. Only one suggestion.... Strat Plus Baby!!! Get you a fender Roller Nut. I have two Early 90's Strat Plus's and I never have anytuning problems and they both sound great.
  14. Look's like i'm in! What's the Head Count look like now? Are we throwing a song list together?
  15. that turned out different than what i had in my head but it's better.. Your going to have a unique one !
  16. I would just keep repeating it to yourself...
  17. This thread needs to go away! I'm starting to get the feeling.....
  18. Super Bad Ass ! Congrat's...
  19. That thing is going to sound like crap with Gregwind's ! Seriously think about it.....
  20. The members pages is what got me hook here. Seeing everone's collections and custom guitars, projects. I spent hours clicking through them all.

  22. That is a better picture, it show the true color better in the natural light... I LIKE IT ! Better that this picture----
