Side note I've played two Spirit's last year at a local shop. One with a Maple body and one with a Mahogany Body. Both sounded great. How much is the one Fender worth. You add that one the two hamer's and that's about all that's worth bidding on. O' and LESS IS MORE !

bubs_42 I have a band practice coming up and I'm going to play my "on the bubble" guitars... You'll be the first to know. I have yet to play this guitar in a band situation, can we say excess?? Ya, I don't know what the hell i'm going to do with three standards.. I'm definetly going to have to hide one from the wife... Can I stay with you? Nevermind..

I have a couple of great standards but my all time favorite is a V. Even sitting down, Just take the V put your left leg between the wings and rest the neck joint on your other leg. and go. Full access to all of the frets. I'm going to have to move this one one day for a Vector.

I just bought one with Cream P90's off the Bay for $850.00.

I don't think so. I just saw a picture of an all original early Sunburst with two P90s. Well that's the one that I want!!!!! I thought about buying one of the ebay one's that are broken and having greg put P90's in it. HUM

I'n in with this pickup, I've been looking to put a P90 in my strat but I was afraid of missing out on the Hum sound. I'm putting my order in tomarrow. :angry:

Well I was going to read all of this thread but it was going in a wierd direction's. So here is my opinion, John Mayer is a great guitarist and a unique singer. His live stuff is much better than the records he puts out because they are just overproduced.. To much of everthing he is so good just striped down. If he is this popular now then I can't wait to see what happens when he get's older and starts to get more control an starts producing himself. FYI, Even the "John Mayer Trio" disc is just to smooth I was hoping for a rockier, mybe 80's clapton. You know smooth with punch.... O'well..
