I totally agree with Stray Cat Strut. MUST include the first solo in Ride On from AC/DC, and the bluesy-acoustic licks ala Marty Friedman at the tail end of High Speed Dirt from Megadeth. Might be slightly longer than the category will allow, but Harvest from Opeth has a fantastically tasty solo as well.
