Does anyone know how many Ultimate orders got in before the list was closed? I was re-reading emails from Mike, and it sounded like the initial run stretched to 25, and that a second run would include the rest... or is it 12 in the first run, then the rest?

Did you know Bruce Marshall? He worked at Full Sail back when they first opened. That name sounds familiar but I can't picture him. The most memorable instructor I had there was a guy named Hunter Menning. Unbelievable wealth of knowledge. I started there in 2001, FS was a much smaller operation then, but they had amazing equipment to learn on (Amek 9098, SSL 9000J, incredible mic lockers and outboard gear). We once had Roger Nichols as a guest instructor. Fond memories of that time in my life.

Ha! I remember Skycraft... I used to raid that place for weird parts, switches, pilot lamps, (and of course knobs) etc... back when I was at Full Sail for recording arts.

I was picturing a gloss black headstock with the logo, but that dark veneer with just clear over it would be great looking. Man, the wait is going to be tough.

I figured I'd send him that pic, but didn't know if there was also a secret-handshake name for like-a-59-burst-but-in-no-way-shape-or-form-to-end-up-as-a-clown-burst. I get the impression that someone else may be doing the finishes for Mike on these, but he could likely get your idea across to the paint guy.

Just got notice that I'm in as well. Oh man I'm so excited. Oxblood opaque top, dark natural sides/back. Crowns. Bound neck. Grovers. I have always dreamed of this spec for a Standard. Never seen an oxblood Hamer of any model.
