Scooter Posted May 3, 2006 Posted May 3, 2006 Just finished. 1995 Prosonic head transformed into a 2x12 combo. New JD Newell plywood cabinet with semi-closed back covered in SILVER tolex! It has all-new JJ tubes and new Hellatone 60's. It sounds unreal! Inside the chassis (on the board) it says, "Bruce Zinky Custom Shop 1995". It weighs in at 65lbs. Like new. BadJaxx Posted May 3, 2006 Posted May 3, 2006 the 2x10 format is what kept me from buying one....i bet that's killer...
HAMERMAN Posted May 3, 2006 Posted May 3, 2006 Scooter, what did you think of the JD Newell cabinet? I have a black face super reverb that was turned into a head at some point and I would love to get it back into 4x10 format. His cabinets seems like a reasonable way to do that.

He's easy to work with and his cabs look great. Plus, he finishes his projects faster than most.
Scooter Posted May 4, 2006 Author Posted May 4, 2006 Bump to add that i will also trade for cash. $825 (PayPal OK) These sell for about $750 in 2X10 format, so I think $825 is a steal for a custom 2X12 cab, new JJ tubes and new Celestion Vintage 30 Hellatones.
