New Reverb "Wallet" payments

Reverb has this new payment method called "Wallet". It gets you 1% more on sales with lower fees.  BUT, and big BUT, you can only use the money to purchase other items on Reverb.

I had an issue I wanted to pass along. When they initiated this Wallet thingie, my account defaulted to the Wallet method without me selecting it. So, my first sale went in there without my permission!!!

It was an expensive guitar that I didn't want all that cash to go 'on-account'. I wanted the cash to be sent to my bank, like in the past. They state you cannot transfer your wallet funds to your bank - fuck! I got into a little battle with them and said: "I never selected the Wallet to be my payment method and you automatically defaulted my account to that when you started the Wallet option." After a bunch of emails, I finally got my cash sent to my bank. 

So, sorry for the long story. Peeps, check your Reverb account to make sure they didn't pre-select Wallet for your accounts.

Thanks for the heads-up. Just checked mine and it still says "Bank Account."

 

To check, hover over the Menu (upper right corner), then under "Selling" select "My Shop Settings." "How You'll Get Paid" is right under the shop currency setting.
