DaveL Posted December 7, 2025 Posted December 7, 2025 (edited) Hi, here's project that I'm getting all the parts together for. I ordered a beautiful Musikraft Jazz bass neck last year (Fender Custom Shop 60's profile, nice dark rosewood board, slightly flamey headstock...) I shot this months ago with Oxford Vintage Formula clear with a little Stew mac aged clear in between and then more clear... then it sat... Found this cool body on ebay would have preferred a lighter aging on the front so I could go guardless but I might still anyway... I've already aged the hardware (vintage style nickel bridge, string guide) and the Gotoh nickel tuners arrive next week. Going more for more of a vintage vibe rather than true vintage accuracy... the dude who sprayed this was a Lions fan for sure... nice weight on the body (4 and some change) Will have a Fender style "Fredo" logo... pics, enjoy. cmatthes Posted December 7, 2025 Posted December 7, 2025 Love the MK stuff - it’s the best. Digging this project - more Fredos out there is a good thing. I’ve got Musikraft Jazz Bass necks on a few builds. Just recently finished this one with the invaluable efforts of one Mr. Stike: 10 1 Quote
