ARM OF HAMER Posted December 16, 2025 Posted December 16, 2025 Some of these I'm sure improved on some things from the old ones. But back in the day................I used a Goodrich H-10K. It is actually made for pedal steel guitar, loved it. It did everything I wanted it to do and nothing I didn't. I paid I think 50 60 bucks for mine and it was in perfect shape, now I see one and they are asking several hundred+. diablo175 Posted December 16, 2025 Posted December 16, 2025 I always struggled with finding a volume pedal that worked the way I needed. The quest ended when I moved to the Boss ME-50 effects unit for my stage rig, which had an expression/volume pedal that did what I needed. Moving to the Fractal Axe FXIII and the FM 9 cemented the divorce from traditional amps. And with a Mission expression/volume pedal, the volume control is on point. 2 Quote
MPR Posted December 18, 2025 Posted December 18, 2025 Best volume pedal for me is the Sonuus Voluum. Bigger footprint, and not cheap, but it does more. With digital brains controlling analog audio curcuit (voltage controlled amplifier) you can have different presets for full swells, subtle cut or boost, and do other volume-based effects—I stumbled across it while searching for a tremolo pedal that can sync to MIDI clock, which the Voluum does beautifully, and I also use it for a bit of compression on clean/low-gain sounds. Here's the demo that turned me onto it: 1 Quote
