I've been amazed at how quickly anything he puts up for sale is gone, seemingly regardless of price.

I don't know about the pricing for those specific items, but he does enjoy some notoriety and he seems to not sell junk, but stuff that's in good shape and has been worked on by professionals. The only Dean 1980 3 pickup Cadillac on Reverb is asking $15k.
