Travis Posted April 3, 2005 Posted April 3, 2005 So I was looking at the USA Hamer finishes and I came up with a question. Since white isn't an option on the USA Hamer line, does that mean that I would have to pay $300 list to get that color on a guitar? I mean, the only solid finishes I saw listed were black and the gold top. Of course, the import line lists white as a standard finish, but that doesn't really do me any good.

cmatthes Posted April 3, 2005 Posted April 3, 2005 Remember that you won't be paying $300 extra - at least you SHOULDN'T - from your dealer. That's just the list price and you should get a discount from that.

Travis Posted April 3, 2005 Author Posted April 3, 2005 No, I knew that. That's why I put "$300 list" in the original post. I've got an idea for a white Artist with black binding that I thought would be cool. I'm thinking about an Artist Custom with a mahogany top instead of the maple with black binding all around and all the normal Custom upgrades (inlays, etc.)Of course, I'm still thinking about a Korina Vector in some sort of transparent finish with black or chrome hardware (just don't like gold or brass). Then again, if Hamer can do a short scale Watson, that'll thow another kink in the old armor. Decisions, decisions.
