I am in the market for a T-51. I would really like to find one with the acoustic fishman bridge if possible, but this is NOT super important. I had a black one of these and kick myself for selling it. I am not in a huge hurry to buy, but will if and when the right guitar for the right price comes along. Let me know what you have.

Thanks, this forum is great.

Be patient, they'll pop up. Some models seem to come available in occasional bunches, I don't know why. T-51's & Eclipses both seem to fall into this category.

My search for a T-51 took me one and a half years, then I got 3 of them in 8 weeks.

Prices are going now in the 700 $ range.

So be patient...

I may be tempted to let one of mine go. I've got a friend that has a guitar I've been wanting to buy off of him for years. He's close to giving it up to get a divided by 13 amp. If he does I'll be putting up one of mf T51's

Hey jgmoyers,

It took me about 6 months to find mine and I scored it off of E-bay for $600.00 with no case. :D I'm surprised it made to my home in one piece since it was packaged in just a box and a gig bag. Here's a picture of mine:

Just to let you know, it's not for sale :D . You'll have to look on this messageboard, Craig's List or E-bay, if you want to find a nice used one. They do come up for sale every few months. It's a shame that Hamer doesn't want to make the T-51, Vintage S or the Daytona anymore. Total Fender guitar killers!!!

The one I'd probably give up is a natural finish, alder body, maple neck with tortoise shell pickguard. stock Duncan pickups.

I am already keeping my eye on that one. I appreciate the heads up though. As I told someone on here already, I am NOT looking for a museum piece, I play music for a living and want one of these to add to my rig in place of a fender that I have been using. This one would be great because it has a pretty big ding on the back by the jack, which I wouldn't care about, but it may bring the price down. Not to sound cheap, but it won't effect the tone, and that is all I care about.

Thanks again
