Jeff R Posted June 2, 2006 Posted June 2, 2006 Don't know this owner nor his guitar, but I will say the white Jems have ebony boards and alder bodies instead of the typical Jem's basswood body and either maple or rosewood fingerboard.The white ones IMHO are the best "tone" Jems of the entire 20-year run.

Nope, they changed that a couple years ago, so you've got to know the year. The new JEM7VWH have rosewood fretboards (my older one has Ebony).
