bbobb24 Posted July 28, 2006 Posted July 28, 2006 I tried posting my Budda Verbmaster for sale with almost no interest at all, so I thought I'd try this. I'm looking for a very low wattage tube amp for livingroom use, without getting me evicted.Anyway, let me know.
bruce919 Posted July 28, 2006 Posted July 28, 2006 I got a 1973 Fender Deluxe Reverb or a 30 watt Laney AOR head or for sale or trade.
bbobb24 Posted July 28, 2006 Author Posted July 28, 2006 I've always love Fender Delux Reverbs, but they're a little more amp than I'm in need of. I guess I should have been a little more specific with my original post. I've been looking at mfg's that build tube amps with wattages as low as 5 watts and under. My Verbmaster is rated at 18 watts and it's sooooo loud, far too much for my needs.
BadgerDave Posted July 28, 2006 Posted July 28, 2006 I'm not looking to trade, but I'll suggest that you look into a Carr Mercury. It's the perfect amp for your situation. Switchable between 8, 2, 1/2 and 1/10 watts with clean, crunch and lead settings, a cut switch, great tone controls and reverb. Top-notch construction and materials, hand-wired and good looking enough to leave in your livingroom without crossing the line into "boutique geek".Carrs are expensive, but you should be able to work a pretty good trade with the Budda.Good luck.
bbobb24 Posted July 31, 2006 Author Posted July 31, 2006 I'm really interested in a lower wattage amp, but thanks for the interest.
