instantkarma Posted August 4, 2006 Posted August 4, 2006 Is a chrome cover available for the Wilkinson bridge plate on the Hamer T-51? If so, where might I find one? Thanks!
serial Posted August 4, 2006 Posted August 4, 2006 Would you be able to fit one on there? I thought that the T51s had flat bridge plates. The covers on Fender Teles attach to the raised bridge plate sides. Of course, I haven't seen a T51 in a while and I'm not really into the Hamer Fender clones (nothing at all wrong with them, they're just not my speed), so I could be wrong.
BCR Greg Posted August 4, 2006 Posted August 4, 2006 No such part. You can change out to a vintage style bridge with some minor modding. It really opens up the tone of the guitar, and gives you the look of the old stuff if you pop on the ashtray.
