kizanski Posted August 6, 2006 Posted August 6, 2006 From Chris' Guitars Interweb site...Hamer Sunburst USA, 1982, (picture 2) - click lower right of pic to enlarge), great playing early Hamer that, despite its share of wear and tear, is a killer player. No breaks/repairs, just normal honest "relic" wear. Frets are in very good shape and this guitar needs nothing. Both pickups are period correct DiMarzio PAF's, although the neck should be a zebra I believe. Also has added coil tap switch. Maple top is very wide flame, almost a quilt, and it looks better in person than in the pics. If you want a nice playing early Hamer but don't want to pay up for a near mint example, this baby will do the job nicely - for $750. Includes case. Someone posted recently that they were looking for a player (I think they said "beater") in that price range.
