Seymour Duncan '59, nickel cover, 4-conductor.

Noonan,

I have a '59 that has a nickel cover. Stupid question: how do I know if it's a 4 conductor?

I have a double black, 2 conductor 59B. You could always buy a cover and rewire it. :D

Seriously

as far as I know converting a 2 wire into a 4 wire requires delicate, life threatening major surgery.

and that bridge vs neck thing is tricky to overcome. ;)

You are correct sir, I failed to mention that it needs to be a neck pup.

Soooo does that mean you have a 59N, 4-cond, with a nickel cover?

Alas, I do not. If I did, you would be the first to know. However, at least this little exchange has kept your thread at the top. :)
