Caddie Posted August 24, 2006 Posted August 24, 2006 Seymour Duncan '59, nickel cover, 4-conductor. Who has one sitting in their orphan parts drawer? noonan
sw686blue Posted August 24, 2006 Posted August 24, 2006 Noonan,I have a '59 that has a nickel cover. Stupid question: how do I know if it's a 4 conductor?
AdmiralB Posted August 24, 2006 Posted August 24, 2006 I have a four-conductor '59N, but it is double black uncovered. You could always buy a cover....
Travis Posted August 24, 2006 Posted August 24, 2006 I have a double black, 2 conductor 59B. You could always buy a cover and rewire it. Seriously
Caddie Posted August 27, 2006 Author Posted August 27, 2006 I have a double black, 2 conductor 59B. You could always buy a cover and rewire it. Seriously as far as I know converting a 2 wire into a 4 wire requires delicate, life threatening major surgery. and that bridge vs neck thing is tricky to overcome.
Caddie Posted August 30, 2006 Author Posted August 30, 2006 still trolling....come on fishy, fishy, fishynoonan
Caddie Posted August 31, 2006 Author Posted August 31, 2006 You mentioned nothing of a neck humbucker. You are correct sir, I failed to mention that it needs to be a neck pup. Soooo does that mean you have a 59N, 4-cond, with a nickel cover? noonan
Travis Posted August 31, 2006 Posted August 31, 2006 Alas, I do not. If I did, you would be the first to know. However, at least this little exchange has kept your thread at the top.
