RacerX Posted October 8, 2006 Posted October 8, 2006 Hi Gang, Here's a pre-feebay shot for you guys. 1959 Les Paul jr. Light, big neck, chunky p90. You know....the one everyone raves about, and for good reason. Slight headstock crack (not break!) very well repaired long ago. I've owned this guitar for 5 years and it's been fine. Smooth, can't feel it playing, never went through to the front. Original pup, pots, cap, tuners, bridge...everything. Includes a beat "protector" case and the original cardboard aligator case in good condition. Currently set up with 10's, truss rod works fine, good neck angle, low action, good original frets, no playability issues. Some checking, some dings here and there, but certainly not beat. The joys of home ownership have been derailed by a plumbing nightmare that I really need to solve. So a "keeper" or 2 need to move along. May consider a really special vintage Hamer in part trade, but this is a cash motivated move. We sold a nice 59 a couple weeks ago in the shop for 9k. This one plays even better but any repair on these affects the collector value. So $4500/shipped get's you in the 59' Les Paul club. It is worth every penny. Here's a few pix, I have lots more Thanks for lookin' Mark.
cmatthes Posted October 8, 2006 Posted October 8, 2006 Worth every penny at even more than you're asking Mark!Somebody should jump on this one.
