I've owned UL's and these have way more and better sounding,more articulate gain and can be alot more aggressive ...IMO...."The" metal amp...period

Only if you need to bump up the volume on your solo's as there is no footswitching of any kind on these amps...1 channel and as straight up as it gets...I honestly do think you'd dig these amps if you don't need effects loops or channel switching....girlfriend thought I'd lost my mind yesterday...kept playing an open G chord...well....kinda hard to explain....
