BTMN Posted January 8, 2007 Posted January 8, 2007 Ah HA! So that was the brand Brad Whitford had when they were here in November. I was a lil to far away to tell what the logo said. He had the 335 like one. Those are nice. Who makes them and where are they made?

instantkarma Posted January 9, 2007 Posted January 9, 2007 Bill Collings makes the finest acoustic guitars available these days at his shop near Austin. He recently introduced a few electric models, including solid and semi-solid bodies. The deluxe models can be ordered with beautimous quilted maple tops, and of course everything is typical Collings supreme quality, highest grade wood and other materials, and perfect fit and finish. Here is the I-35 Deluxe with quilted top in Tobacco: But below is an example of what Bill is really famous for--a 2001 Collings D2H. She's a cannon, the holiest of grails, they just don't get any better, if you take my drift. Don't have one? Git one! Y'all be real glad you did.
