Hey folks - it's time for the post surgery gear selloff! In light of my wife's herculean efforts in concurrently caring for my son (severe pneumonia) and and myself (after two major abdominal surgeries), I've decided to sell some very nice (but not used often) gear in order to cover Lasik eye surgery and a trip to the Caribbean for the wifey.

I do realize that I will regret selling most of these, but honestly, after a brush with the big gig in the sky, having a stable of guitars pales in comparison to some of the more important things in life. (I've got a few left anyway). So, my wife finally gets to live without glasses/contacts and we get to take a much needed trip without the kiddies. Here it goes:

1980 Special w/ WCR Crossroads pickups and RS electronics kit. I paid $700 right here on the HFC, and have since purchased a TKL HSC for it. I'm asking $775 shipped and Paypal'd. Here's the link to the listing before:

Next up is a Heritage 535 Goldtop w/ Seth Lovers. Excellent condition with Heritage HSC. This thing sounds awesome and the woodgrain on the sides and back is incredible. Price is $1075 shipped and Paypal'd. I'll have more pics later, but here's one to tide you over:

I'll be listing a 90s Studio and maybe a few more later tonight or tomorrow.

I've got several refs here, the Gear Page, and Ebay (Bluesking89). Cheers!

OMG-that 535 is the bomb! If this was posted a month from now I would be all over that thing. Good luck with the sales, I hope everything ends up working out for you. Lee

Tell me more about the special. is it a skinny neck? I am looking for a 92 studio custom with the skinnier neck profile, does the special have this......?

Oh man, those are both SOOO sweet! I loved my 535 and have regretted letting it go and this goildtop is killing me. The special is just too sweet, too.

Man, I wish this was happening about 6 weeks from now. Nonetheless, glad to have you back and all the best!

Yep, the 535 is killer for sure. I'm almost tempted to sell my 335, pocket the $900 difference, and stay an extra week in the Bahamas!

Seriously though, the Heritage is by far on of the best thinline guitars I've played. The original owner mentioned that it was a special order from Jay Wolfe down in Florida, so this is a pretty sweet deal.
