I might try to refinish this & reshape the headstock in some way so it doesn't look so goofy. How can I get a pattern of a USA Scarab headstock?

IIRC, at one point they were $199 new on sale. Not bad though. Did it say it was Chinese? It is if not. New color would be cool. Especially if Brother Stike were to paint it Bass Boat Metalflake Green or Gold for you.

It's Chinese. I don't think there were any Korean Scarabs, but $112 is cheap as hell. I used to have one and it played great. Hell, I could smash that onstage & not feel bad.
