Jason01 Posted March 2, 2005 Posted March 2, 2005 Doody posed this question to me and now I can't get it out of my head. Why don't they put the duotone bridge and electronics in a newport? Wouldn't that be closer to what would normally be considered an acoustic/electric hybrid than a duotone is?
doody Posted March 2, 2005 Posted March 2, 2005 I was going to ask but decided not to put crazy ideas into anyones' heads for custom orders. Not that I'm going to order one mind you. I am sure they won't do it. Nothing to see here. Move along.
Bill Posted March 3, 2005 Posted March 3, 2005 My variation of this dream is a Monaco Duotone. I am waiting for someone to custom order it, then sell it to me used (for $350).

cmatthes Posted March 3, 2005 Posted March 3, 2005 Funny you should mention that - I know a dealer who has already looked into that idea - and we did call it the "Monotone"!!!
