The Sails of Charon "full-track" version.

It's been a while since I started looking for the long version of The Scorpions' "The Sails of Charon". In the remastered version of "Taken By Force" this song clocks at 4:23. However, it is supposed to be around 45 seconds longer. I've also heard that there's a Japanese release of "Taken By Force" in CD, but so far everything I've found is the same "butchered", shorter version. Any idea where can I find the "full-length" version of this song?

I've got "Best Of Scorpions" which is from their early RCA stuff. It has the song listed at 4:24.

My brother had the vinyl. He may still have it. I'll have to check what it is on the record.

According to allmusic.com, the long version (5:14) has only been released on LP: Taken By Force LP version.

There's been a few import (EU, Japan) issues of "Taken..." with a different cover (military graveyard w/kids in army helmets playing war) that is pretty rare, though I don't know if it has the long track or not. Come to think of it, I don't believe I've heard the long version...damn you, zorrow, the search has begun!

Ok, well, as I said, I've read somewhere (still have to find where) there's a Japanese CD release with the long version of the track. However, I still have to find that release, as all the Japanese versions I've seen so far only contain the short variant of the song.
