Imiss85 Posted February 3, 2008 Posted February 3, 2008 What's the difference tonally between a special/studio and a Monaco?
mfreyer Posted February 5, 2008 Author Posted February 5, 2008 What's the difference tonally between a special/studio and a Monaco?I have never owned a Studio or Special, but I have had a couple Artists. This guitar has a thicker and slightly darker tone to it than the Artists I have owned. I would guess that the same would be true in comparison to the Studios.Matt
Brewmaster Posted February 5, 2008 Posted February 5, 2008 Mahogany and Humbuckers, you can't go wrong. What is wrong with you people? This is a steal!!!!I own a Mahogany Studio, (mahogany cap and body). It is a very warm sounding compared to the standard Studio's I have owned. It's pretty basic, no maple cap = warmer guitar.
