Guest Michael Posted February 23, 2008 Posted February 23, 2008 I just wanted to comment on how helpful and decent the correspondence has been as I've been trying to figure out how to swing a suitable deal. Thanks to all who've been of assistance. I might end up trying to pinch pennies and order a Studio Custom from BCR Greg, who took the time to explain some things to me that have opened my eyes a bit. I've been playing some Les Pauls at a local shop lately because I'm really after that tone, but when I compare the build quality of even the fancy R8 or R9 to the Superpro I have it's no contest. I don't care if the resale value drops to shameful levels, there's enough folks here interested in buying and selling to have available top quality instruments at a really attractive price, considering the prices for the better known guitars. Since we all spent real money to get into the game, no one really loses. You're a fine bunch of people; it's a pleasure being associated with you.
