tythety Posted February 22, 2008 Posted February 22, 2008 I bought 4 of these recently and put one into a 1x12 cab after reading an article about Roben Ford. I use it with different amps to enhance my lead tones (Andrews A-22, H&K Switchblade 100, and VOX AC30 w/Blues). They are very resonate with lots of upper mids that make leads sing. I really like them but need only one or two so I'm selling two of these. 8 ohms.I'm new here so I don't know if there is a favorite speaker that Hamer folks really dig, but I know that my Studio with 57's played though these just sounds very creamy. They are like new and I'll sell for $60 each. I can make some recordings if any are interested. Just ask. Thanks,

Thanks,The review takes me right to a G12-65 review site on Harmony Central. If you're selling one of these I'm interested as I stated. If it is a Super 65 i'll keep looking for a g12-65. Thanks

If it is a Super 65 i'll keep looking for a g12-65. Thanks Sorry for the confusion. That was the wrong link. I have removed it. In Guitar Player (FEB, 2008) Robben says his speaker of choice is Celestion Super 65s. Not G12-65. A Super 65 goes for about $80 new whereas a G12-65 sells for $180 new. I'd be very foolish to be selling $180 like new speaker for just $60. ;-)Speaker are like shoes - sometimes you have to try on a few until you find the right one. These are widely used in stock 4x12 and 2x12 cabs throughout the world. Thanks,
tythety Posted February 27, 2008 Author Posted February 27, 2008 1 Sold. I could be talked out of two more.
