BCR Greg Posted March 16, 2008 Posted March 16, 2008 Different animal completely. The pickup routes are universal, so that P-90s and Humbuckers can go in the same guitar. Plus, it's a different look from the typical guitar. I like it. Avalons are an inch wider than the Elite, the body is nearly identical to the SuperPro(the Avalon has been around since 1996 or so). Avalons have the 24.75" scale, and are chambered on the arch topped versions, solid on teh slabtopped ones. Robins and Hamers coexist quite well, as many of the HFC members will tell you.
