cswilder Posted May 14, 2008 Posted May 14, 2008 I'm selling a vintage 1960 5E3 Tweed Deluxe. I'll probably kick myself later, but I'm just not using it much so it's on the block. It's in worn, but original condition. Non-original items are: Electrolytic caps Power cord (three prong installed) Leather Handle Reconed Speaker The original handle will be included, but it is not serviceable. I can't seem to find the tube covers for the preamp tubes. The tubes are all NOS usa tubes. RCA 6v6s and 5y3. It's currently running two 12ax7s (RCA I think), but I can dig up a 12ay7 if the buyer prefers it. The amp works perfectly and sounds fantastic. I tuned a tele to open G the other night and it nailed the "Can't you Hear me Knockin?" tone perfectly. I really can't seem to pin down the market on these as I see people asking over $3k for them, but I'd be pleased to get $2500 + actual shipping. Paypal ok if it's an e-check. I'll consider offers if I'm way out of line on the price. Complete album of pics here: http://share.shutterfly.com/action/welcome...m7Fm1YtGHy¬ag=1
