Craig S Posted July 3, 2008 Posted July 3, 2008 The get realistic about music sell down continues. FM, rare tobaccoburst finish some fret wear and small dents otherwise very nice. $725 plus ship SG - Sold Duncan Custom 5 sh14, regualr spacing, no logo..polished off and will look right in a Hamer(was in my FM), lot's of lead.. $49 shipped. - sold Dimarzio Pre B1 Tele pickup, from the 70's... wires are spliced and some repotting on the base...no issues performance wise.. This really thickens up a Tele nicely while keeping the Tele character $25 shipped - sold

DavidE Posted July 7, 2008 Posted July 7, 2008 "The get realistic about music sell down continues."What does "realistic" mean? ;-)I can't believe you're selling that FM. It's really a "Special" FM.
Craig S Posted July 7, 2008 Author Posted July 7, 2008 What does "realistic" mean? ;-)Realistic means I'm not a Rock Star and I don't need a bunch of guitars to play the few sparsley attended gigs I get a few times a year.. I should actually sell off the SG first.... I use it the less of the two.. That maybe sizes up what I should be thinking about...

Craig S Posted July 7, 2008 Author Posted July 7, 2008 Man,... I don't think we want your kind here..... I stress when I think about selling guitars.... I got the racin' bug hitting again... so if you think I get flaky about guitars, that's nothing compared to that.
hamersandstrats Posted July 10, 2008 Posted July 10, 2008 Is that a special model SG, or did you replace the pickguard? I remember Gibson doing a candy apple red finish on SGs-is this a candy apple blue? Both of those guitars are awesome, BTW.
Craig S Posted July 10, 2008 Author Posted July 10, 2008 Yes, it's the candy apple blue. Someone added the pickgard before I got it... I think they had a limited run of red, blue and TV yellow that year.
