RoyB Posted September 12, 2008 Posted September 12, 2008 We have been working with Lindy Fralin to come up with a high output pickup built with many of the same features found in our True 60s and we are now ready to offer them for sale. http://www.rsguitarworks.net/rsstore/produ...products_id=497 We also are now offering all out hardware like tuners and knobs in new unaged version, so we now have all the newest Kluson keys in stock for your new guitars.
RoyB Posted September 13, 2008 Author Posted September 13, 2008 I just added some simple sound clips, but I hope to have more very soon. These clips are done with the Big Blocks in a Gibson Faded Explorer with an RS Modern upgrade kit.http://www.rsguitarworks.net/cms/media/mp3...hells_bells.mp3http://www.rsguitarworks.net/cms/media/mp3...ack_of_comm.mp3http://www.rsguitarworks.net/cms/media/mp3...slide_it_in.mp3
hrtatak Posted September 13, 2008 Posted September 13, 2008 Sounds good. What amp and speakers were used ?
RoyB Posted September 13, 2008 Author Posted September 13, 2008 Sounds good. What amp and speakers were used ?It's all recorded on a Line 6 guitar port with all the EQ set flat. I wanted to keep it simple so people could hear the pickup with out hearing how the amp, cab, speakers and microphone all color them.
veatch Posted September 13, 2008 Posted September 13, 2008 http://www.rsguitarworks.net/cms/media/mp3...ack_of_comm.mp3Ratt-n-Roll, baby!Sounds great. Also curious on the amp.
RoyB Posted September 18, 2008 Author Posted September 18, 2008 We just added another clip of the Big Block this time it's a live clip of out head Tech Billy Compton (on lead guitar) and RS President Scott Leedy (on bass) playing with Billy's band Southern Electric. This is a simple clip with the Big Block in the same Faded Explorer running through a Epiphone Valve Jr and a Marshall Jubilee 2X12" loaded with Celestion G12H speakers and miced with a SM57. There are no effects on the guitar in this clip. The rythems are with the guitar's volume on 6 and the leads are with the volume rolled to 10. Only the lead is an overdub, but it's still the same rig.http://www.rsguitarworks.net/cms/media/mp3...B_hell_aint.mp3
