proxmax Posted October 21, 2008 Posted October 21, 2008 does anyone know details about this tuner?i want to buy one maybe, if it is worth the high value.thanks klaus
santellavision Posted October 21, 2008 Posted October 21, 2008 Yeah, they are great tuners. Not sure I would go for the expensive rack unit. The smaller units are great too, especially for setting your own Intonation. But, I do that at home, not on stage.
murkat Posted October 21, 2008 Posted October 21, 2008 the small clam shell one is great. I use everywhere... rack, pedalboard, bench, etc.
proxmax Posted October 22, 2008 Author Posted October 22, 2008 i bought the rack version today.it was expensive as hell for a tuner, but works very preciseand has many useful features, like the sweeteners.
fractal Posted October 22, 2008 Posted October 22, 2008 I've been debating lately which one to get. I have an old VS-I that I LOVE, and I want something for gigs. It is a toss-up for me between all three units: Stroborack, Strobostomp II, and the StroboFlip.Anyone else have a preference? Thanks!

They just announced v2.0. If you take a laptop to your gigs, this would be a realtively inexpensive solution.-Jonathan
blackfbiv Posted October 23, 2008 Posted October 23, 2008 Strobo-flipper here... I love how it clips onto my mic stand. if you have a volume pedal with a tuner out...you just roll back the volume and tune. Sometimes I sit and watch the vitual strobe while playing... it tracks pretty darn fast. I have to be careful I don't get 'Hypmo-tized' ©
