BadgerDave Posted December 23, 2008 Posted December 23, 2008 This is a Warmoth solid swamp ash 1 piece body routed for three single coils and a hardtail strat bridge. It is remarkably light at 3 lbs. 10 oz. The finish is Warmoth's Mary Kaye blonde, which is a milky semi transparent white. In person, the ash grain shows through nicely. As you can see in the photo, I've used the body on a custom build, so all of the holes are drilled in the appropriate places. There may be an extra screwhole or two under the pickguard from switching from an 8 to 11 hole guard, but nothing that shows. The body is in excellent + to near mint condition. This was a pricey and somewhat unique piece of wood, most bodies are either multiple pieces or heavier, or both. I'd like to trade for a Warmoth, USA Custom or USA Fender Strat body in either gloss black or white (not cream or vintage - it needs to be olympic or alpine). I'd prefer a body routed for a vintage six screw Fender tremolo. I'll trade even for a body in similar condition to mine or consider something with more wear if you're willing to add $. Anyone interested?
DavidE Posted December 23, 2008 Posted December 23, 2008 If only it was routed for an Am. Std. trem.... If it comes down to it, I have an excellent condition Fender USA American Std. body in Olympic white routed for the 2 post Am. Std. bridge. I'd sell it for whatever the going rate is. I'd do the research, but it doesn't sound quite like what you're looking for. Any interest in this body?
MCChris Posted December 23, 2008 Posted December 23, 2008 Any interest in this body?A valid question, considering the original criteria:I'd like to trade for a Warmoth, USA Custom or USA Fender Strat body in either gloss black or white (not cream or vintage - it needs to be olympic or alpine). I'd prefer a body routed for a vintage six screw Fender tremolo.

BadgerDave Posted December 24, 2008 Author Posted December 24, 2008 Nice body, David, but I'm looking for something very specific. I have a checkerboard pickguard that would look good on a black or white body, along with the appropriate parts for a vintage tremolo.I'd consider other colors like red or grafitti yellow.
